Imran Raza

Imran is our most knowledgeable account managers.  He has over 15 years of experience working with clients to identify training requirements and recommend training programmes. His approach to both his work and customers is extremely thorough and committed. As one of our longest serving and most successful members of staff, he is an essential part of Stratum.

Beverly Rowson

Beverly Rowson

Beverly has worked for Stratum for over 15 years and is our finance manager. She is a core member of our operational team and works closely with suppliers and customers covering all aspects of financial control.

Lorna Large

Lorna is our Operations Manager and has worked in various roles within the organisation since joining in 2008. Lorna manages a busy portfolio of trainers and is tasked with the timely and cost-effective provision of suitably qualified trainers also tracking costs and ensures viability of our courses. Lorna also manages our ISO 9001 Quality Management System proving our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of our customers.

Before working with us, Lorna studied and graduated from the University of Wales Swansea with a Social and Economics degree in Geography. Her approach to her role is meticulous and she is committed to providing excellent levels of service.

Femi Gbajobi

Femi is the IT manager at Stratum  and has worked for the company since it was founded. He has a vast range of experience in the IT sector and is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all of our IT systems, both in the classroom and the office. He is responsible for the building and setting up of all PCs and workstations for our IT training courses, as well as the upkeep of other technologies used in the training centre. Before joining Stratum, Femi worked as a civil engineer for many years.

Julie Hughes

Julie Hughes

Julie is the co-founder of Stratum  and is the Director of Operations. Julie manages the finance and operations team to ensure the smooth running of the business, while also working to develop new relationships with external partners and professional bodies. Before founding Stratum, Julie headed-up HBS Academy which provided all IT training requirements for the Hyder Group.

Mike Hughes

Mike has led Stratum for the last 15 years and is our Managing Director. Most of his working life has been in the IT industry where he has held several senior roles in the semi-conductor and water industries. His current role includes the management of the business functions of Stratum, as well as its employees. Mike takes a flexible approach to running the business and operates an open door policy, engaging with both Stratum’s employees and customers.

Alan Austin

Alan is our Compliance and Standardisation manager.  Having over 20 years service in several Government Departments including managing national projects and programmes, Alan shares his experience and knowledge with both Stratum and our customers.   In particular, Alan’s expertise applies to our workforce development programmes and training funded via Government initiatives. He has extensive experience and knowledge regionally and nationally of DWP and JCP funding, contract and performance management.  Additionally this experience has provided him with detailed knowledge of both in and out of work benefits, grants and initiatives and the labour market as a whole.
